If you have not updated your Aadhaar card for many years, then this news is useful for you. The last date to update Aadhaar card for free is 14 June 2024 (Friday). After this, amendments can be made in the Aadhaar card only after paying a fee of Rs 50.
Bareilly’s postal department officials said that if the date of birth is wrongly written in the Aadhaar card, then as per UIDAI’s rules, you can make corrections only once. For this, it is necessary to bring any one of the documents – birth certificate, passport, mark sheet, photo identity card given by the implementing agency.

CGHS/ECHS/ECIS issued by Central/State Government, Disability Identification Card, Driving Licence, Domicile Certificate/Residence Certificate/MGNREGA/NREGS Job Card, Indian Passport, Kisan Photograph Passbook, Marksheet, Marriage Certificate, Nepali/Bhutanese-Passport/Citizenship Certificate, Ration Card, School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate, Service Photo Identity Card, SC/ST/OBC Certificate, Transgender ID Card, Visa Long Term, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Pensioner’s Photo Card, Standard Certificate issued by Gazetted Officer of State Health Department, Standard Certificate issued by Superintendent/Warden/Matron.
